So what do I know?

So, as of 3:00 the Packers are dominating their game while the Eagles are in a friggin dogfight. That Packer pick is looking mighty good. Meawhile the Panthers just scored, and the receiver (someone named Christian Fauria) celebrated like the Cats had the lead or something. I thought that was particularly classless, but then I found out he used to play for the Patriots and it all made sense.

  1. As I'm reading the post, I'm like Fauria was a great Patriot (I think he came from Seattle - St Ides can confirm)

And then I finished the paragraph.nice Samiclaus, nice.

Onto next week's pick - 17 ppl remain in the suicide pool. I'm loving Cleveland right now.

  2. My favorite part about the Patriots destruction of the Bills was how Belichick was going on and on about how fond he was of the Bills and how much he liked Dick Jauron. Of course this didn't stop him from going for a few 4th downs when he was up by 30. What class.

Jauron, ever the gentleman, said "I don't mind. It's our job to stop them". And actually, he's right. I don't blame Belichick either. It's like the league pissed him off or something and now he's got something to prove.

The Pats are in another world. I read today that 8 of their wins were by 17 points or more. All of a sudden that 16 point spread seems so trivial...

  3. Who else do you have left besides Cleveland?

  4. Arizona could be another, playing the hapless Niners. that opening line is 10 points, and I'm leaning this direction now, cause when can I pick ARZ again? probably never

  5. You're next best shot at Arizona is week 16 (December 23rd) at home against Atlanta, followed by week 17 (December 30th) at home against St. Louis.

Cleveland looks good this week, and week 17 against the Niners..

  7. You can thank Neil Rackers for knocking Anonymous out of his suicide pool.

The worst part about it is he nailed his first attempt. But it was whistled dead because of delay of game. 5 yards back, still a chip shot, he misses.

2 plays on Sunday made the difference between Seattle and Arizona tied for the NFC West lead at 6-5, and Seattle having a 2 game lead.

  9. I thought we might have to send the paramedics to Anon. Cheer up. You're team played a shitty game, screwed around with their offense in the first half, had their top playmaker effectively taken out of the game and still put up 31. Oh, and won.

    Astonishing, isn't it?

  10. its time for some more postings!

the pats look completely beatable, Seattle has risen from the dead and GB is having one of its finest seasons in many years.

All three teams are playoff bound, and we need some blogging.
